The present study aimed to explore the role of miR‑576‑3p in DDP sensitivity of ovarian cancer cells. Ovarian cancer cell lines SKOV3 and A2780 and DDP‑resistant ovarian cancer cell lines SKOV3/DDP and A2780/DDP were used in the present study. In vitro studies demonstrated that microRNA (miR)‑576‑3p overexpression increased the DDP sensitivity of DDP‑resistant ovarian cancer cells. A dual‑luciferase assay verified that both programmed death‑ligand 1 (PD‑L1) and cyclin D1 were targets of miR‑276‑3p and were reversely associated with the expression of miR‑576‑3p. Moreover, in vivo studies indicated that tumorigenesis was inhibited by DDP, which was enhanced by further miR‑576‑3p overexpression in tumor tissues.
