These results suggest that the QT5-19 VOCs probably promote tomato growth through improving photosynthesis and biosynthesis of expansins and IAA, and reducing ethylene biosynthesis. This study suggests that QT5-19 is a versatile biocontrol control agent.The incidence of human fungal infections is increasing due to the expansion of the immunocompromised patient population. Adopting glucose as the center, this review has been put forward to provide an outline of the important processes like growth, the progression of infection, and the metabolism regulated by glucose, affecting the pathogenicity and virulence traits in the human pathogenic fungi.
