Arthrospira platensis NIES-39 is more adaptable to pH variation than Arthrospira platensis PCC 7345.In this work, cobalt phosphide nanoparticles (Co2P NPs) were prepared by simple and mild hydrothermal method without the use of harmful phosphorous source. The morphological structure and surface component of Co2P were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements. Considering the excellent electrocatalytic reduction activity and good electrical conductivity of transition-metal phosphide, we fabricated Co2P NPs on indium tin oxide (ITO) substrate (Co2P/ITO) for H2O2 detection. The Co2P/ITO transducer displayed a rapid amperometric response less than 5 s, a broader response range from 0.001 to 10.0 mM and a low detection limit of 0.65 μM. In addition, the non-enzymatic Co2P/ITO sensor showed outstanding selectivity, reproducibility, repeatability and stability, all of which qualified the Co2P/ITO electrode for quite a reliable and promising biosensor for H2O2 sensing. A total of 228 animals (Landim, Angone, and Tete) were genotyped using the International Dairy and Beef version three (IDBV3) SNP BeadChip array. Population parameters varied within a limited scope, with the average minor allele frequency (MAF) ranging from 0.228 ± 0.154 in the Angone to 0.245 ± 0.145 in the Tete population, while estimates of expected heterozygosities varied from 0.304 ± 0.166 in the Angone to 0.329 ± 0.148 in the Tete population. Low positive (0.065 ± 0.109) inbreeding rates were detected in the three cattle groups. Population structure and admixture analyses indicated low genetic differentiation and various degrees of admixture among the populations. The effective population size has decreased over time and at 12 generations ago ranged between 349 (Tete) and 929 (Landim). The average linkage disequilibrium (LD) of the studied populations ranged from 0.400 ± 0.213 (Tete) to 0.434 ± 0.232 (Landim). This groundbreaking work laid the foundation for the emerging field of statistical phylogenetics, providing a tractable way of finding maximum likelihood (ML) estimates of evolutionary trees from DNA sequence data. This paper is the second most cited (more than 9000 citations) in JME after Kimura's (J Mol Evol 16111-120, 1980) seminal paper on a model of nucleotide substitution (with nearly 20,000 citations).
