A total of 238 patients were included in this retrospective analysis. PNI was calculated as the serum albumin level (g/L) + 5 × absolute lymphocyte count, and the cut-off values of PNI and haemoglobin were calculated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Then, we combined haemoglobin and PNI, named the H-PNI score, as a predictor of tumour prognosis.
