She's a bit Spitfire Susie is a little sweetheart who just wants to be loved. She is shy, but she has an egocentric streak and likes to get everyone to do what she says. She is very good with her foster brother Romeo and is starting to get acquainted with her foster sister Tedd. She is becoming more comfortable with her surroundings and enjoys being outdoors. It is a sad truth that a lot of dogs don't receive the respect and dignity they deserve. This is particularly true for smaller breeds like Yorkies. These small dogs are easily overlooked by children who run out of the door, or forget to shut a screen door. This could cause serious injury or even death to these tiny creatures. Additionally, Yorkies are prone to respiratory problems and can be injured by sudden noises or activity. Yorkies may not be the best choice for families with young children. Despite these issues they are lovely and affectionate companions. They can also be a great addition to families with older children. Donna gave Susie her a new home despite these difficulties and Susie is now healthy and content. The experience has helped her rebuild her life and get over the pain from the wrongful attack on her own dog. She hopes that her story will encourage others to save puppies.
