METHODS To investigate the risk of sexual dysfunction in women with IBD, we used data from the Danish National Birth Cohort, a nationwide study of 92,274 pregnant women recruited from 1996-2002. We performed a cross-sectional study based on the mothers who participated in the Maternal Follow-up in 2013-14. The outcome was self-reported sexual health. Information regarding demographics and IBD characteristics was retrieved from the Danish National Patient Register.
