RESULTS A putative CYP15C1 ortholog was cloned from C. suppressalis midguts. The transcript is downregulated in fifth-instar larvae and is most highly expressed in heads. RNA interference (RNAi)-mediated knockdown of CsCYP15C1 was associated with significantly increased mortality. More importantly, feeding a dsRNA-nanomaterial mixture significantly increased larval mortality compared with feeding dsRNA alone. CONCLUSION A critical role for CsCYP15C1 function in molting is supported by sequence similarity with known juvenile hormone epoxidases, its expression profile, and abnormal molting phenotypes associated with RNA-mediated knockdown. CsCYP15C1 is thus a prime target for controlling C. suppressalis. PURPOSE To develop and validate a multimodal MRI-based radiomics model for the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions and analyze the discriminative abilities of different MR sequences. STUDY TYPE Retrospective. POPULATION In all, 207 female patients with 207 histopathology-confirmed breast lesions (95 benign and 112 malignant) were included in the study. Then 159 patients were assigned to the training group, and 48 patients comprised the validation group. FIELD STRENGTH/SEQUENCE T2 -weighted (T2 W), T1 -weighted (T1 W), diffusion-weighted MR imaging (b-values = 0, 500, 800, and 2000 seconds/mm2 ) and quantitative DCE-MRI were performed on a 3.0T MR scanner. While therapeutic relationships remain core to mental health nursing practice and patient recovery, increased managerialism and focus on risk has impacted nurses' therapeutic practice with patients. While there is anecdotal evidence of the impact there has been little research that demonstrates nurses experience of therapeutic engagement within the current context. WHAT THE PAPER ADDS TO EXISTING KNOWLEDGE? The paper reports on qualitative research that highlights nurses' strong attempts to create the space for therapeutic engagement with clients. This research provides evidence of the constraints on practice imposed by new managerial processes and suggests potential means of responding to them. WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS FOR PRACTICE? Mental health nurses are committed to working therapeutically but struggle to balance this against new managerial demands imposed across many OECD countries. The New Zealand government has recently reported on positive changes to mental health provision but does not suggest changes to the structures that impede good practice.
