What is your challenge? My challenge is to change the way people see wheelchair users *When it happened? When an extended illness. I started using a wheelchair 16 years ago *How do you feel about it? It changed the way I could access the world. They seemed to see me in terms of their assumptions of what it must be like to be in a wheelchair. *Why do you feel like that? Because they used words like "limitation","fear","pity" and "restriction." What do you think about your challenge? I'd seen my life slip away and become restricted. But the wheelchair gives me new freedom. It's an indescribable freedom, unlike other people in wheelchairs. I really want to spread my story to everyone How can you overcome that challenge? I find joy in a wheelchair. The wheelchair became an object to paint and play with and the underwater wheelchair that has resulted What is your advice for everyone to become stronger?
