In addition, 4-mer and 5-mer peptides had higher BA micelle disruption activity than 6-mer peptides. Our results confirmed that the BA binding and micelle disruption activities were significantly higher if the short-chain peptides contained K and R residues. The highlights in cardiothoracic transplantation focus on the recent research pertaining to heart and lung transplantation, including expansion of the donor pool, the optimization of donors and recipients, the use of mechanical support, the perioperative and long-term outcomes in these patient populations, and the use of transthoracic echocardiography to diagnose rejection. This study aims to identify social-psychological factors associated with MPV acceptance among Dutch women to add to the current understanding of vaccine hesitancy worldwide, and to inform the development of communication and information campaigns about MPV.
