SUMMARY: The only child of a pair of refugee monks, Morikawa Akane is a studious yet dorky girl with a deep love of games. She carries several assorted decks of cards wherever she goes, as well as a notebook for keeping score or maintaining character sheets. Always seems to have a few more dice + pencils in her pockets for some reason, and is never without a play-mat or pieces for shogi. 

ABILITIES: In combat, Akane utilizes her razor-sharp cards as chakra-infused bladed fans, intermittently incorporating them as projectiles whenever she can get away with it (replacing those thrown with more from the seemingly endless supply in her sleeves). This is enough of a threat on its own, but the real kicker is what's ON the cards--every single one of them bears a seal of some sort, containing everything from jutsu to bombs to armed bear traps and anything in between. Each moment spent fighting her is more time she can use to set herself up for success; as an avid student of the Crane Sage Path, her foes often fail to realize they've lost until it's already far too late.
