The aim of this study was to investigate the potential use of renal ultrasonography radiomics features in the histologic classification of glomerulopathy. A total of 623 renal ultrasound images from 46 membranous nephropathy (MN) and 22 IgA nephropathy patients were collected. Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a recognised complication of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), yet the reported incidence varies widely and the associated risk factors are poorly understood. Data was collected on all adult patients who returned a positive COVID-19 swab while hospitalised at a large UK teaching hospital between 1st March 2020 and 3rd June 2020. Patients were stratified into community- and hospital-acquired AKI based on the timing of AKI onset. Out of the 448 eligible patients with COVID-19, 118 (26.3 %) recorded an AKI during their admission. Significant independent risk factors for community-acquired AKI were chronic kidney disease (CKD), diabetes, clinical frailty score and admission C-reactive protein (CRP), systolic blood pressure and respiratory rate. Visual rating of medial temporal lobe atrophy (MTA) is often performed in conjunction with dementia workup. Most prior studies involved patients with known or probable Alzheimer's disease (AD). This study investigated the validity and reliability of MTA in a memory clinic population. MTA was rated in 752 MRI examinations, of which 105 were performed in cognitively healthy participants (CH), 184 in participants with subjective cognitive impairment, 249 in subjects with mild cognitive impairment, and 214 in patients with dementia, including AD, subcortical vascular dementia and mixed dementia. Hippocampal volumes, measured manually or using FreeSurfer, were available in the majority of cases. Intra- and interrater reliability was tested using Cohen's weighted kappa. Correlation between MTA and quantitative hippocampal measurements was ascertained with Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. Moreover, diagnostic ability of MTA was assessed with receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis and suitable, age-dependent MTA thresholds were determined. Rater agreement was moderate to substantial. MTA correlation with quantitative volumetric methods ranged from -0.20 (p< 0.05) to -0.68 (p < 0.001) depending on the quantitative method used. Both MTA and FreeSurfer are able to distinguish dementia subgroups from CH. Suggested age-dependent MTA thresholds are 1 for the age group below 75years and 1.5 for the age group 75years and older. Neoantigen based personalized immune therapies achieve promising results in melanoma and lung cancer, but few neoantigen based models perform well in IDH wild-type GBM, and the association between neoantigen intrinsic features and prognosis remain unclear in IDH wild-type GBM. We presented a novel neoantigen intrinsic feature-based deep learning model (neoDL) to stratify IDH wild-type GBMs into subgroups with different survivals. We first derived intrinsic features for each neoantigen associated with survival, followed by applying neoDL in TCGA data cohort(AUC = 0.988, p value < 0.0001). Leave one out cross validation (LOOCV) in TCGA demonstrated that neoDL successfully classified IDH wild-type GBMs into different prognostic subgroups, which was further validated in an independent data cohort from Asian population. Long-term survival IDH wild-type GBMs identified by neoDL were found characterized by 12 protective neoantigen intrinsic features and enriched in development and cell cycle. The model can be therapeutically exploited to identify IDH wild-type GBM with good prognosis who will most likely benefit from neoantigen based personalized immunetherapy.
