Roberts syndrome is a genetic disorder characterized by tetra-phocomelia with abnormalities of ESCO2. We report a male stillborn with tetra-phocomelia and no ESCO2 mutation. Pre- and post-natal imaging and autopsy findings included schizencephaly, phocomelia of four limbs, micrognathia, oligodactyly, and cardiopulmonary malformations. Microcephaly on pre-natal imaging was not confirmed by autopsy examination. Karyotype, prenatal chromosome microarray and ESCO2 gene testing were normal. Given the various skeletal anomalies found on autopsy and imaging evaluations, at least phenotypically, our case appeared to conform into Roberts syndrome spectrum. Since the infant did not have the mutation associated with this disorder, this infant could be labeled as the first report of a pseudo-Roberts syndrome because many of his phenotypic anomalies are characteristic of Roberts syndrome in absence of the ESCO2 gene mutation. Patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) who develop cardiac injury are reported to experience higher rates of malignant cardiac arrhythmias. However, little is known about these arrhythmias-their frequency, the underlying mechanisms, and their impact on mortality. We extracted data from a registry (NCT04358029) regarding consecutive inpatients with confirmed COVID-19 who were receiving continuous telemetric ECG monitoring and had a definitive disposition of hospital discharge or death. Prior studies investigating associations of rheumatoid factor (RF) and anti-citrullinated protein antibody (ACPA) seropositivity with risk for rheumatoid arthritis (RA)-associated interstitial lung disease (ILD) have mostly utilized cross-sectional or case-control designs. To determine whether combined autoantibody seropositivity and higher individual autoantibody concentrations were associated with increased risk for RA-ILD in a prospective RA cohort. Within the Veterans Affairs Rheumatoid Arthritis prospective registry, we performed a cross-sectional study of prevalent ILD and a retrospective cohort study of incident ILD (diagnosed after at least 12 months of longitudinal follow-up). We used logistic and Cox regression methods to determine whether combined RF/ACPA seropositivity and higher autoantibody concentrations were independently associated with greater risk for prevalent and incident ILD, respectively. Among 2,328 participants (median age 64 years, 89.3% male), 100 (4.3%) subjects had prevaleed RF/ACPA seropositivity and individual autoantibody concentrations were strongly associated with prevalent but not incident RA-ILD. The Psychosocial Impact of Dental Aesthetics Questionnaire (PIDAQ) is an instrument developed for assessment of orthodontic aspects of oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL). This study aimed to translate and validate the Swedish version of PIDAQ for use in Swedish adolescents 12-19 years of age. The translation was made according to the process described in 'Guidelines for Establishing Cultural Equivalency of Instruments' by Ohrbach . Field testing was performed in a group of consecutive patients who were about to start orthodontic treatment (untreated group) and a group of consecutive patients who had recently finished orthodontic treatment (treated group). During the translation procedure, a Swedish version of PIDAQ was formed. In the field testing, a total of 144 questionnaires, 72 from untreated patients (mean age 14.6 years) and 72 from treated patients (mean age 17.3 years) were collected. The exploratory factor analysis detected two factors, which differs from the factor structure in the original questionnaire. The mean total PIDAQ score was significantly higher ( < .001) in the untreated group, 40.6 (20.3), than in the treated group, 9.4 (10.5), implying a high discriminant validity. Reliability was excellent, with internal consistency Cronbach's alpha values varying from 0.94 to 0.97. The Swedish version of PIDAQ demonstrates good validity and excellent reliability and is suitable for future research on the effect of malocclusion on OHRQoL in Swedish 12- to 19-year-olds.
