However, the molecular events associated with the PCr resynthesis rate are still under debate. We assessed vastus lateralis PCr resynthesis rate from 31 P-MRS spectra collected from healthy adults as part of the CALERIE II study (caloric restriction), and assessed associations between PCr resynthesis and muscle mitochondrial signature transcripts and proteins (NAMPT, NQO1, PGC-1α, and SIRT1). Regression analysis indicated that higher concentration of nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) protein, a mitochondrial capacity marker, was associated with faster PCr resynthesis. However, PCr resynthesis was not associated with greater physical fitness (VO2 peak) or messenger ribonucleic acid levels of mitochondrial function markers such as NQO1, PGC-1α, and SIRT1, suggesting that the impact of these molecular signatures on PCr resynthesis may be minimal in the context of an acute exercise bout. Together, these findings suggest that 31 P-MRS based PCr resynthesis may represent a valid non-invasive surrogate marker of mitochondrial NAMPT in human skeletal muscle. Epidemiologic findings are inconsistent regarding the association between attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) medication exposure and suicide attempt in individuals with ADHD. A systematic literature search of PubMed, Embase and Cochrane Library up to February 2020 was performed. A meta-analysis was conducted for outcomes in which a summary risk ratio (RR) was calculated when taking heterogeneity into account. Both population-level and within-individual analyzes showed that ADHD medication was associated with lower odds of suicide attempts (RR = 0.76, 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.58-1.00; P = .049 and RR = 0.69; 95% CI, 0.49-0.97; P = .049, respectively). However, the association only existed for participants who were treated with stimulants (RR = 0.72; 95% CI, 0.53-0.99; P = .042 on population-level analysis and RR = 0.75; 95% CI, 0.66-0.84; P < .001 on within-individual analysis). Furthermore, a lower risk of suicide attempts was not observed in subjects who took ADHD medication for 1 to 90 days (RR = 0.91; 95% CI, 0.74-1.13; P = .416 on within-individual analysis). The results indicate that non-stimulant treatment is not associated with a higher risk of suicide attempt, but stimulant treatment is associated with a lower risk of suicide attempt. In this study, a site-specific stress-diffusive manipulation is demonstrated to fulfill highly robust and ultraflexible amorphous indium-gallium-zinc oxide (a-IGZO) thin-film transistors (TFTs) and integrated circuits. The photochemically activated combustion sol-gel a-IGZO TFTs on a mesa-structured polyimide show an average saturation mobility of 6.06 cm2 V-1 s-1 and a threshold voltage of -0.99 V with less than 9% variation, followed by 10 000 bending cycles with a radius of 125 μm. More importantly, the site-specific monolithic formation of mesa pillar-structured devices can provide fully integrated logic circuits such as seven-stage ring-oscillators, meeting the industrially needed device density and scalability. To exploit the underlying stress-diffusive mechanism, a physical model is provided by using a variety of chemical, structural, and electrical characterizations along with multidomain finite-element analysis simulation. The physical models reveal that a highly scalable and robust device can be achieved via the site-specific mesa architecture, by enabling generation of multineutral layers and fine-tuning the accumulated stresses on specific element of devices with their diffusion out into the boundary of the mesa regions.The retinitis pigmentosa 2 (RP2) gene is one of the causative genes for X-linked inherited retinal disorder. We characterized the clinical/genetic features of four patients with RP2-associated retinal disorder (RP2-RD) from four Japanese families in a nationwide cohort. A systematic review of RP2-RD in the Japanese population was also performed. All four patients were clinically diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa (RP). The mean age at examination was 36.5 (10-47) years, and the mean visual acuity in the right/left eye was 1.40 (0.52-2.0)/1.10 (0.52-1.7) in the logarithm of the minimum angle of resolution unit, respectively. Three patients showed extensive retinal atrophy with macular involvement, and one had central retinal atrophy.
