Mitophagy was tested by Western blotting and immunofluorescence staining. MPTP-induced neuronal injury in mice was investigated via behavioral tests and TUNEL. PPX alleviated MPP -induced neuronal injury via increasing cell viability and decreasing LDH release and apoptosis.
