It was a late summer evening, and Jack and his friends decided to take the road to the cabin to spend the weekend. They had all heard stories of the cabin and its fascinating background, and were eager to discover it.
 
 The moment their arrival, the lodge appeared exactly as they had imagined it. It was a log cabin that had a huge porch and an enormous stone fireplace. As the sun set, the sky turned a deep violet. Jack and his companions looked on in amazement at the cabin, soaking in its splendor.
 
 They got the door open and went into the cabin. The cabin was filled with the scent of the smoke coming from the fireplace as well as the musty scent of old wood. Its walls were lit in artwork and the furniture was made from wood and leather.

 Jack and his friends started exploring the cabin with his friends. They headed to the second floor and found a bedroom with the largest four-poster bed. It also had a window with a view at the woodland. The room was stuffed with books, trinkets and other old items.
 
 On the lower level, they discovered a large living room with a fireplace and a piano. They also found a dining room with an older wooden table and chairs.
 
 Inside the kitchen they found a small wood-burning stove as well as an old kitchen sink, and various pots and pans. Everything was covered in an incredibly thick layer of dust, however there was something familiar about it.
 
 As they were exploring the house the sun set and darkness filled the sky. Jack and his friends were able to make an burning fire inside the fireplace and sit around the fire to chat.

 Jack and his friends decided to investigate the sound and ventured out in the woods. They continued to listen until they came across an old, abandoned cabin. They were shocked to discover that the knocking came from inside the cabin.
 
 Jack and his companions were too scared to enter the cabin, therefore they decided to go back to their own cabin and investigate the following morning.
 
 On the next morning, they returned to the cabin abandoned. They walked in and saw an elderly person sitting in an lounge near the fireplace. The man was wearing a formal suit and had the longest white beard.

 The old man was friendly and said he had been knocking on the door of their house the night prior. He explained that he was in search of someone who could assist him. He stated it was his name, Mr. Smith and he was seeking the long lost son of his. He'd been looking for him for years and had heard rumors that the man might be in the vicinity.
 
 Jack and his friends agreed to help Jack and his friends agreed to help Mr. Smith find his son. They searched for him in the area, and finally found him in a nearby town.
 
 As Jack and his friends came back to their cabin with Mr. Smith's son, they were met with a joyous reunion. He. Smith thanked Jack and his friends for their help and invited them to come back whenever they wanted.
 
 After this incident, Jack and his friends vowed to always remember the strange knocking sound at the cabin in the woods. They realized that they'd witnessed something extraordinary and will never forget it.
