https://scientific-programs.science/wiki/Autonomous_Vacuum_Whats_No_One_Is_Talking_About How to Choose a Robot Hoover and Mop Some robot mops can also be used as vacuums, and others are used for mopping and sweeping. Those that only sweep need to have their dustbins frequently empty and their sweeping pads removed or machine-washed. Mops also require their water tank to be full and their mops cleaned (or replaced) regularly. Also, it's important to vacuum-proof the house and keep things such as clothes, cords, and pet toys away from reach. How does it work The motor is the most important element of a robotic vacuum, since it creates suction to pull dirt and debris from the vacuum bag. Some robotic cleaners have a mix of roller brushes, side brushes and mops to in agitating and lifting particles into the suction. Some have smart features, like the ability to auto return to the dock once it's full and then recharge. Others have smart home integration and voice activation, which allows you to control the device via your smartphone's app or your personal assistant. Robots use sensors to help navigate their surroundings, helping them avoid obstacles and navigate tight corners. Sensors like obstacle and cliff sensors are used to stop robots from falling down steps or getting trapped under furniture. Certain robots have dirt sensors that alert you when the robot is dirty and has to be cleaned. A lot of advanced robot vacuums come with smart features such as intelligent mapping, smart mops and mop heads that differentiate between carpets and hard floors. Some robot vacuums with mop attachments have a multifunction dock, which will automatically empty the bin and clean the mop pads, and refill the water tank. They could also be able of performing two jobs, which includes vacuuming and mopping in one go. You can also program them to clean a certain room or area within your home on regular basis. For example, you could program your robot to vacuum and mop your living room each
