It was a long summer night, and Jack and his buddies had planned the road to the cabin to spend the weekend. They had all heard stories of the cabin's intriguing past, and were eager to see it.

 Jack and his companions were afraid to enter the cabin, therefore they decided to go back to their cabins and explore the next morning.
 
 The next day, they returned to the cabin abandoned. They walked in and saw an elderly person sitting in an lounge near the fireplace. The man was wearing a formal suit and had a long white beard.
 
 The old man was friendly and explained that he had been calling the door of their home the night before. He explained that he was in search of someone who could assist him. He said it was his name, Mr. Smith and he was searching for his long-lost son. He had been searching for him for a long time and had heard that he might be living in the region.
 
 Jack and his buddies were willing to assist Mr. Smith find his son. They searched for him and found him in a nearby town.
 
 As Jack and his friends returned to the cabin along with the help of Mr. Smith's young son, they greeted by a happy reunion. Mr. Smith thanked Jack and his friends for their help and asked them to visit anytime.
 
 After this experience, Jack and his friends resolved to remember forever the strange knocking sound at the cabin in the woods. They were certain that they had witnessed something extraordinary and will never forget the experience.
