They also include a smart-home function which lets you control them from your smartphone or tablet. The fridge is large enough to hold space for groceries and leftovers. This model comes with an automatic ice maker. It produces fresh frozen ice that is filtered. It's easy to use, as well. The ice and water dispensers are located inside the fridge, not in the front, so they don't mar the sleek appearance of the exterior. The dispensers can be used with any cold beverage, including juice and sports drinks. The refrigerator is made of a tough stainless steel that is resistant to scratches. It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're worried about smudges on your furniture, look into a cleaning product that gets rid of fingerprints without harsh chemicals. This refrigerator comes with a large interior space of 20.5 cubic feet and Bosch's patented farmfresh system with four cutting-edge freshness technology which keep fruits, vegetables and leftovers fresh for up to three times longer than the average. Its freezer temperatures are also near-perfect, with a range of less than a fraction of a degree away from the ideal. Although the Bosch refrigerator is pricier than the GE Appliances model, it offers more features, making it worth the cost. It has a door-indoor storage space, which allows you to store food items in a container that fits directly into the fridge's door and also comes with a drawer that can be converted to five temperature settings designed to accommodate various types of drinks such as snacks, meat, and wine. The Bosch fridge also comes with an intelligent home feature called Home Connect that you can use to control it remotely using your smartphone or tablet. The only drawbacks to this fridge is the thin main refrigerator drawer and the hard-to-use right door latch. The refrigerator is a great choice for kitchenettes and single households that require more space than a French door refrigerator can provide. The stainless steel is a beautiful addition to any kitchen. LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator LG counter-depth refrigerators are slim and offer plenty of space. They're also priced more affordably than conventional-depth French door fridges and can eliminate the need for a separate smaller under-counter freezer. The LG Smart Mirror InstaView Counter-Depth Refrigerator (LMWC23626S), which offers the capacity of a standard refrigerator with a sleek and modern design, isn't an exception. It also has an internal dispenser that allows for easy access to drinking water. This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior. The door bins are spacious of space and the top shelf can be folded to create a half-depth shelf that can hold taller items. A set of crisper drawers are in the lower part of the refrigerator and the deli drawer with a full width can be used to store meat or produce. The refrigerator has a recessed Icemaker that is located on the back wall. This saves space and allows you to store more bags of ice. The refrigerator uses a door cooling system that uses vents on the fridge and freezer doors to allow cold air to enter. It helps prevent hot spots and helps keep temperatures more consistent throughout the refrigerator. This LG refrigerator stood out during our tests. It offers ample space to serve a family, but we did notice a few irritating flaws. The freezer drawers aren't as cold as we'd like. The temperature of the middle drawer climbed to 41° during our highest use test, which is the temperature needed to freeze ice cream or other frozen food items. The temperature in the rest of the freezer remained at about 36 degrees. The doors of refrigerators also have handles that are sunken and are difficult for people with shorter arms to close. It may seem trivial however, we prefer front-mounted handles on refrigerators to make them easier to open and close. This fridge is expensive however it is worth it for anyone looking to have a sleek look in their kitchen. This refrigerator is ideal for those who want to upgrade their existing refrigerator or those who are building new homes and want a seamless kitchen. Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator Samsung's latest counter-depth French-door refrigerator model, the RF23M8090SG is priced at $4200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also performed well during our cooling test, but we're not a fan of the gimmicky handles or plastic crisper bins. One thing that sets the RF23M8090SG apart is the Bespoke line that lets you personalize your fridge with removable colored panels that can be swapped out when you're bored of the current ones. There are 11 colors to choose from including soft pastels, more vibrant hues, and four metallic finishes. Some of these panels can be personalized with photos or text making the fridge a more personal feature that can be matched to your tie-dye Crocs, Rick Owens dress or Andy Warhol banana neon sign. You can even change the color of the fridge's LED lighting, which is nice. The interior of the refrigerator has a smart finish which reduces the appearance of smudges and makes cleaning easy. The RF23M8090SG's only real knocks are its slightly congested beverage center and a bit of a learning curve in opening the door-indoor feature that houses a water jug and a dispenser. You have to feel for an unmarked lever on the underside of the door midway across, and when you have it the lever, it opens a second door within the fridge, which houses the pitcher docking station as well as the water dispenser, and two shelves for drinks. The 6.8 cubic-foot freezer compartment is large enough to accommodate a large amount of frozen food items and features an impressive slide-out drawer system that allows you to access the food you're looking for without opening the entire compartment. The freezer also comes with a butter-bin style compartment for storing small items and a large capacity storage drawer to store bulkier frozen foods. The drawer can be locked by using a password to ensure that anyone who isn't a good fit is kept out. It also has a handy LED to help you see what's inside at an instant. The freezer can also monitor energy usage and help you lower your power bill through the SmartThings Energy Mode. Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator French door refrigerators add an elegant design to any kitchen, and are a good fit in various sizes of rooms. Counter-depth refrigerators are the best option if you want this design, but without the added height. This model from Frigidaire that we've extensively tested and received an above-average rating in our reviews due to its low cost and thoughtful features, such as an adjustable temperature drawer. However, it has a couple of nagging problems. Our test data indicates that the FGHB2866PF is able to warm up quite a bit in the freezer, and it could get uncomfortable warm in the fridge's innermost shelves. That's reflected in our heat maps which show how interior temps fluctuate minute by minute. The orange area on the upper right, which represents the butter bin, is particularly warm for most of our time of testing. It might not appear too bad at first glance however, it means that the fridge is spending a significant portion of its time above 33 degrees. It's important to note that this model isn't Energy Star certified, which could be a major consideration for certain buyers. The issue is that this fridge isn't a great choice. https://www.frydge.uk/categories/french-door-style-fridge-freezers 's not equipped with the latest features and a durable construction, making it difficult to recommend it over better options at this price point. In many ways, the Frigidaire feels like the stainless-steel model of fridge you might see on display at the local appliance store. It's a good choice with a brushed-finish that looks nice and is resistant against smudges. However it's not offering much to differentiate itself from rivals that are more feature-rich and more affordable. Still, if you're shopping for a low-cost counter-depth French door refrigerator and don't have the budget to splash out on our top choices, then the FGHC2331PF is worth a look. It's got enough storage to meet the needs of the majority of families and does a good job at keeping food fresh. And even if it isn't an energy-efficient model, it won't even come close to costing more than our top-rated models do.
