GLP-1RA treatment significantly decreased the Alt-Ext-induced TSLP and IL-33 release in TALLYHO mice. While TSLP or ST2 inhibition with a neutralizing antibody decreased airway eosinophils, they did not reduce airway neutrophils in TALLYHO mice. Our qualitative research followed a community-based participatory research framework. Fifty diverse women graduates of Lotus House Women's Shelter participated in eight focus groups to discuss their experiences with Lotus House and other shelters. Findings from this study highlight the elements that create a "culture of care" within an organization. Participants described Lotus House shelter culture as genuine, defined by dignity and respect, having high expectations for guest independence and accountability, giving space to rest and recuperate, recognizing and accommodating individual needs and experiences, and fostering a sense of community. Creating an organizational "culture of care" is an avenue by which any shelter or related organization can enhance the experience of program participants. This study was conducted to determine the mental well-being and social support perceptions of nurses working in a Covid-19 pandemic hospital. This study used a cross sectional design. The sample included 333 volunteer nurses. Based on the marital and income statuses of the nurses, there was a significant difference between the multidimensional scale of perceived social support family subscale (p < 0.05). There was a positive, weakly significant relationship between the nurses' mental well-being and their perception of social support (r = 0.381; p < 0.05). The present study attempted to investigate the effect of SCH on IR and glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). In addition, the effects of ellagic acid (EA) on SCH C57BL/6J and db/db mice were also investigated to explore potential therapeutic drug against SCH-induced abnormal glucose metabolism. T2DM patients were recruited in our study and categorized into two groups according to thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) value T2DM without SCH group (TSH ≤4 μIU/ml; n = 30) and T2DM with SCH group (TSH >4μIU/ml; n = 60). However, our understanding of how this coupling responds to climate warming is restricted to temperate, boreal and arctic regions, with limited knowledge from tropical ecosystems. We investigated how warming aquatic ecosystems impact cross-ecosystem exchanges in the tropics, through the export of aquatic resources into the terrestrial environment and the breakdown of terrestrial resources within the aquatic environment. We experimentally heated 50 naturally assembled aquatic communities, contained within different-sized tank-bromeliads, to a 23.5-32°C gradient of mean water temperatures. The biomass, abundance and richness of aquatic insects emerging into the terrestrial environment all declined with rising temperatures over a 45-day experiment. Structural equation and linear mixed effects modelling suggested that these impndscape and should be considered when investigating ecosystem-level consequences of climate change.
