Data were collected between June and August 2020. The sample was comprised of 189 first responders (Mage = 47.58, SD = 10.93; 21% female), recruited nationally, who completed an online survey. Results indicated that COVID-19-exposed first responders were more likely to be emergency medical services [EMS] personnel (vs. non-EMS) in career (vs. volunteer) roles. COVID-19-exposed first responders reported higher alcohol use severity; no other between-group differences were noted. COVID-19-related worry and medical vulnerability were incrementally associated with more severe symptoms of anxiety and depression; only COVID-19-related worry was associated with alcohol use severity. Among the subset of first responders (n = 122) who reported COVID-19 exposure, COVID-19-related worry was significantly associated with PTSD symptom severity. Covariates included gender, trauma load, years as a first responder, and COVID-19 exposure. Good examples abound but lack of clarity persists as to what defines rights-inclusive SRH research. To help move the field forward, this article seeks to explore how key stakeholders responsible for funding and supporting rights in SRH research understand the strengths and weaknesses of what is being done and where, and begins to catalogue potential tools and actions for the future. Interviews with a range of key stakeholders including international civil servants, donors and researchers committed to and supportive of integrating rights into SRH research were conducted and analysed. Interviews confirmed important differences in what is understood to be SRH rights-oriented research and what it can accomplish. General barriers include lack of understanding about the importance of rights; lack of clarity as to the best approach to integration; fear of adding more work with little added benefit; as well as the lack of methodological guidance or published research methodologies that integrate rights. However, the association between anemia and CI-AKI remains conflicting. Thus, we conducted a meta-analysis to further clarify the relationship between anemia and CI-AKI. PubMed, EMBASE and Web of Science were systematically searched from inception to June 2020 to identify eligible studies. The pooled odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used to estimate the correlation between anemia and CI-AKI. The potential publication bias was estimated using funnel plot and Begg's test. A total of 13 studies (five case-control studies and eight cohort studies) comprising 27,135 patients were included. The pooled results showed that anemia was a significant risk factor of CI-AKI (OR, 1.82; 95% CI, 1.27-2.61). Moreover, the results of subgroup analyses and sensitivity analyses were basically consistent with the overall pooled result. Funnel plot and Begg's test indicated that there existed potential publication bias, but the result of trim and filled analysis showed that the pooled results kept stable after adding 'missing' studies.
