The random-effects model was used to pool the effect sizes and standardized mean differences (SMDs) and the corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Eight studies reported depressive and anxiety states of 7750 women, either pregnant or postpartum were included. The overall pooled EPDS score was higher among women during pandemic (SMD= 0.40, 95% CI -0.05 - 0.86,  = .083) compared to previous non-pandemic times, without reaching a statistically significant difference. However, the overall pooled STAI score was significantly higher during pandemic (SMD= 0.82, 95% CI 0.49 - 1.16,  < .001). No significant publication bias existed in selected studies (  > .05). In this study, we describe the role of the transcription factor encoded by the gene CAGL0F09229g, here named CgTog1 after its Saccharomyces cerevisiae ortholog, as a new determinant of C. glabrata virulence. Interestingly, Tog1 is absent in the other clinically relevant Candida species (C. albicans, C. parapsilosis, C. tropicalis, C. auris), being exclusive to C. glabrata. CgTog1 was found to be required for oxidative stress resistance and for the modulation of reactive oxygen species inside C. glabrata cells. Also, CgTog1 was observed to be a nuclear protein, whose activity up-regulates the expression of 147 genes and represses 112 genes in C. glabrata cells exposed to H2O2, as revealed through RNA-seq-based transcriptomics analysis. Invasive fetal therapy have its own set of maternal and fetal complications and invasive approach is not feasible in many of fetal conditions that are candidate for fetal therapy. Many such fetal conditions have been treated successfully by medical or noninvasive management. In medical fetal therapy, mothers are treated with medications which are transferred to fetus through placenta and exert positive effect on the fetus, thus avoiding complications that are seen secondary to invasive fetal therapy. The fetal conditions that have been managed with medical therapy includes fetal and neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia, neural tube defect, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, perinatal infections, respiratory distress syndrome, inborn error of metabolism, and congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation. This review will cover the medical or noninvasive aspect of fetal therapy and will highlight the progress made in the management of these fetal conditions.Although pediatricians in Germany work as general practitioners for children, they are planned and trained as medical specialists. In consequence, distances between practices and residences of patients can be very large. The implementation of task-sharing models is a promising option to sustain pediatric outpatient care in rural regions. In this study we assessed the need for and acceptance of delegation of tasks in outpatient pediatric healthcare to non-physician healthcare professionals and developed a task-sharing concept. A standardized questionnaire was developed and addressed a wide range of healthcare professionals. On the basis of the results of the questionnaire and a subsequent workshop involving representatives of the various fields of pediatric care a delegation-concept was developed. A total of 206 questionnaires were answered (response rate 17%). About 70% of the respondents (n = 145) agreed with the delegation of counseling on prevention, 66% (n = 135) with the delegation of tasks in the transition process into adult medicine.
