Respondents' attitudes and practices regarding sexual behaviors were associated with gender and employment. This study indicated that young population's awareness in Vietnam is high, however, risky sexual behaviors also remain common. Sex-related educational programs about the consequences of substance use, multiple sex partners, and unprotected sex should be developed. This paper presents an analytic formula for the theoretical stress concentration factor kt for cylindrical tubes with transverse circular holes, loaded in traction or in flexion. The study is based on modern finite element (FEM) techniques, which allow for appreciating with great accuracy the phenomenon of stress concentration. A comparison between the FEM results of this paper and those that were obtained by the existing analytic formulas shows the need of an update, as some discrepancies may be noticed. Our results are the fruit of a wide campaign of numerical FEM simulations that have been conducted analyzing numerous geometric configurations of the tube. Moreover, these configurations are defined in a wider two-dimensional (2-D) domain than the one valid for previous analytic formulas published in literature. Finally, these FEM results have been approximated with great accuracy by means of a fourth degree double polynomial regression that led to the new analytic formula that is proposed in this paper. Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) comprises a group of heterogeneous biliary cancers with dismal prognosis. The etiologies of most CCAs are unknown, but primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is a risk factor. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/azd9291.html Non-invasive diagnosis of CCA is challenging and accurate biomarkers are lacking. We aimed to characterize the transcriptomic profile of serum and urine extracellular vesicles (EVs) from patients with CCA, PSC, ulcerative colitis (UC), and healthy individuals. Serum and urine EVs were isolated by serial ultracentrifugations and characterized by nanoparticle tracking analysis, transmission electron microscopy, and immunoblotting. EVs transcriptome was determined by Illumina gene expression array [messenger RNAs (mRNA) and non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs)]. Differential RNA profiles were found in serum and urine EVs from patients with CCA compared to control groups (disease and healthy), showing high diagnostic capacity. The comparison of the mRNA profiles of serum or urine EVs from patients with CCA with the transcriptome of tumor tissues from two cohorts of patients, CCA cells in vitro, and CCA cells-derived EVs, identified 105 and 39 commonly-altered transcripts, respectively. Gene ontology analysis indicated that most commonly-altered mRNAs participate in carcinogenic steps. Overall, patients with CCA present specific RNA profiles in EVs mirroring the tumor, and constituting novel promising liquid biopsy biomarkers. In this paper, to solve the problem of detecting network anomalies, a method of forming a set of informative features formalizing the normal and anomalous behavior of the system on the basis of evaluating the Hurst (H) parameter of the network traffic has been proposed. Criteria to detect and prevent various types of network anomalies using the Three Sigma Rule and Hurst parameter have been defined. A rescaled range (RS) method to evaluate the Hurst parameter has been chosen. The practical value of the proposed method is conditioned by a set of the following factors low time spent on calculations, short time required for monitoring, the possibility of self-training, as well as the possibility of observing a wide range of traffic types. For new DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) system implementation, algorithms for analyzing and captured traffic with protocol detection and determining statistical load parameters have been developed. In addition, algorithms that are responsible for flow regulation to ensure the QoS (Quality of Services) based on the conducted static analysis of flows and the proposed method of detection of anomalies using the parameter Hurst have been developed. We compared the proposed software DPI system with the existing SolarWinds Deep Packet Inspection for the possibility of network traffic anomaly detection and prevention. The created software components of the proposed DPI system increase the efficiency of using standard intrusion detection and prevention systems by identifying and taking into account new non-standard factors and dependencies. The use of the developed system in the IoT communication infrastructure will increase the level of information security and significantly reduce the risks of its loss.Ankle/foot pain is a common complaint encountered in clinical practice. Currently, due to the complex anatomy, the diagnosis and management of the underlying musculoskeletal disorders are extremely challenging. Nowadays, high-resolution ultrasound has emerged as the first-line tool to evaluate musculoskeletal disorders. There have been several existing protocols describing the fundamental sonoanatomy of ankle/foot joints. However, there are certain anatomic structures (e.g., Lisfranc ligament complex or Baxter nerve) which are also clinically important. As they are rarely elaborated in the available literature, a comprehensive review is necessary. In this regard, the present article aims to brief the regional anatomy, illustrate the scanning techniques, and emphasize the clinical relevance of the ankle/foot region. The chronic low-grade inflammation in adipose tissue plays a causal role in obesity-induced insulin resistance and its associated pathophysiological consequences. In this study, we investigated the effects of extracts of Broussonetia papyrifera root bark (PRE) and its bioactive components on inflammation and insulin sensitivity. PRE inhibited TNF-α-induced NF-κB transcriptional activity in the NF-κB luciferase assay and pro-inflammatory genes' expression by blocking phosphorylation of IκB and NF-κB in 3T3-L1 adipocytes, which were mediated by activating AMPK. Ten-week-high fat diet (HFD)-fed C57BL6 male mice treated with PRE had improved glucose intolerance and decreased inflammation in adipose tissue, as indicated by reductions in NF-κB phosphorylation and pro-inflammatory genes' expression. Furthermore, PRE activated AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and reduced lipogenic genes' expression in both adipose tissue and liver. Finally, we identified broussoflavonol B (BF) and kazinol J (KJ) as bioactive constituents to suppress pro-inflammatory responses via activating AMPK in 3T3-L1 adipocytes.
