The deck is smaller compared to other treadmills. This might not be an ideal option for those who are taller and have a longer step. 2. iFit 1250 Treadmill This folding treadmill from NordicTrack includes incline options for power-walkers and runners. The motor and frame of this treadmill are more durable than other treadmills at this price. It also has a large deck that allows for running at high speeds. The running deck is 20 inches long and 60 inches wide which is enough for most runners, regardless of height. It's a bit shorter than the decks on some other treadmills I've reviewed however, it's still a good size for most users. The Commercial 1250 is able to automatically adjust the speed and incline based upon your optimal training zone using the SmartBeat wireless chest band (sold separately). This feature, called ActivePulse is a major reason why I prefer the Commercial 1250 to similar treadmills for this price. This treadmill also offers iFit programming, which comes with a large collection of workouts and video featuring elite runners and coaches. The iFit app also offers guided runs that can bring you to places such as Patagonia. If you prefer not to use the treadmill with iFit, it will still function but you won't be able to access the automatic adjustments or the immersive training experiences. The NordicTrack Commercial 1250 is a bit heavy for a treadmill that folds, and it requires a decent amount of space to run. The warranty is longer than some other treadmills in this price range. 3. iFit 1250 Folding Treadmill With its ability to automatically adjust speed and incline the treadmill provides one of the best iFit experiences available. iFIT offers hundreds of workouts that are available led by top trainers from around the world. The screen is situated at the ideal height for me and is simple to use. You can listen to your trainer with built-in 2 - 2" speakers or connect your own Bluetooth headphones to completely immerse yourself and keep focus. The iFit Folding Treadmill comes with an AutoBreeze workout fan that is built-in to those who are running. With three decline settings and 12 incline levels it is a great way to train for any type of terrain. The Commercial 1250 has 1.9-inch rollers that aren't as large as the ones on the Peloton Treadmill, but they should be fine for most runners and walkers. Another excellent feature of the iFit 1250 is its ActivePulse heart rate monitoring technology. This technology will automatically adjust your speed and incline to maintain your ideal heart rate zone during your exercise (requires an SmartBeat chest strap - not included). The iFit 1250 is available for $1,999, which is lower than the Peloton Treadmill but still offers an excellent experience. It's slightly less expensive than other NordicTrack treadmills however it offers a lot of features for the price. The treadmill is heavy and heavy. It may be easier to store it in one place rather than move it around, but it's easy to fold up when not in use due to the gas shock. It has a small step up height of 7.75 inches, which makes it easier to take off and on. Take a look at our complete review for more details about this model.
